New SEYI SD2-200 servo press
Mollificio Valli srl ha recently added to its machinery a SEYI SD2-200 servo press. SD2-200 is a servo press which is particularly suitable for the production of automotive components and consumer electronics goods; its slide area is 1900 mm x 670 mm and it has a tonnage capacity of 200 tons. This press is marked by a direct drive motor, that is, it is directly connected to the main shaft. This and the fact of being directly set in the middle of the machine frame allow to avoid useless power losses: this is why the machine is extremely efficient from the energetic point of view. The advantage of the servopresses consists in the programmability of the movement of the slide. It is possible to manage the curve and the slowing down speed in terms of approach, work, ascent and stop at the lower standstill making the movement of the slide itself a true controlled axle. What it follows is the maximum flexibility and productivity in each working cycle, with an unlimited number of variable and programmable strokes and the possibility to adapt the best curve to each die and production process.
