Industry 4.0
Over the past year Mollificio Valli has embarked on a process of updating its fleet of machines to manage certain productions through processes designed according to industry 4.0 specifications. The updating process involved the purchase of new machines and the modernization of others already in use at the mill, as well as an update of the software that takes care of managing the entire workflow. In the process, winders, grinders, shears, erosion machines and treatment machines were involved.
The realization of this project has made it possible to have a highly automated production line, in which the machines prepare themselves autonomously for the programmed processes and productions, while the operators simply have to comply with what is required by the machine, thus minimizing the possibility of error and optimizing times.
