Sixty Years of Mollificio Valli: A Day Between Memory and Future

A company anniversary represents a milestone that invites reflection on the path taken and the meaning it holds for the people involved. Mollificio Valli chose to celebrate its sixtieth anniversary as a moment of reflection and community.
The date was October 4, 2025, and the location, the Oleggio Castello plant. Employees and their families—over 150 people—walked through the departments as protagonists of a collective story that each contributes to writing day by day. The tour among machines and workstations, shared with children and grandchildren, took on the symbolic value of a generational handover. The morning ended with a convivial lunch organized by the local Pro Loco: long tables, conversations, and the smiles of the youngest brought back the image of a company that first and foremost sees itself as a community.

The Meaning of Memory Sixty Years Later

At the heart of the day was the presentation of the book Family Novel: Between Hard Work and Dignity, written by Mauro Valli (1939–2019), founder of the company. In the last years of his life, he gathered with clarity the stories and memories he felt compelled to pass on. The manuscript remained in the hands of his children for a long time as a precious gift and took its final form on the occasion of such a meaningful anniversary, becoming a living trace of his voice and values.

Born in Carpi and raised in the Po Valley, Mauro arrived in Oleggio Castello in the 1950s as a mechanical worker. In 1965 he founded Mollificio Valli, starting from a small artisanal workshop, which by 1982 had evolved into the structured company it is today. During the event, the Valli brothers remembered their father with simplicity and gratitude: “He taught us that a company becomes great when it grows together with its people. Today we celebrate his legacy: dignity, commitment, and trust.”

Today, Mollificio Valli employs more than one hundred and fifty people, with a consolidated international presence and clients and suppliers active in several countries. A solid company that has grown over time, accompanied by investments in innovation, automation, and sustainability, while maintaining a strong bond with its territory and the people who bring it to life. In the closing toast, the brothers emphasized that “60 years are not a destination, but the beginning of a new phase,” with a commitment to remain faithful to the original values while facing the future challenges of the global market.
