What is the importance of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949:2016 certification for Mollificio Valli?
The ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certifications are fundamental. Since 1997, when we obtained the first ISO 9001 certification, we have seen a significant increase in our customers’ trust. The certifications represent our commitment to excellence, ensuring that our processes meet the rigorous standards required by the automotive industry. This translates into greater reliability of our products and processes and, consequently, greater customer confidence.
What are the main challenges you face in maintaining the high-quality standards required by the automotive industry?
One of the main challenges in the automotive sector is the need to adapt quickly to new specifications and requirements. For this reason, we focus on training our staff and use advanced tools such as FMEA and APQP to predict potential problems and implement preventive solutions. In addition, we invest in automation and process optimisation technologies to reduce human errors and increase efficiency.
How is product quality ensured throughout the entire production process?
Quality at Mollificio Valli is guaranteed throughout the entire production cycle. We carefully select raw material suppliers and carry out acceptance checks. During production, we use a statistical process control (SPC) system to monitor critical parameters and non-destructive testing techniques. What instruments do you use to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of measurements?
In our Quality Control department, we use advanced instruments such as three-dimensional measuring machines (CMMs), automatic load testing machines, profile projectors, 4Koptical microscopes, fatigue testing machines and a salt spray chamber. These instruments are regularly checked to ensure maximum measurement accuracy. Furthermore, our staff is constantly trained in the correct use of all instruments and technologies..
What measures do you take to involve and train staff so that everyone is aware of the quality of the product?
At Mollificio Valli, we believe that quality is the responsibilityof every member of the organisation. We organise continuous training courses, adopt a goal-oriented approach and actively promote a quality culture. We involve staff in decision-making processes and regularly share the results of our quality performance.
