A new OMD MA9\/2E grinding machine has been installed at the beginning of this year. This grinding machine is equipped with two loading plates which are assembled on a rotating table. During the grinding cycle the second loading table gets in position of loading \/ unloading.
\nThe system is equipped with an automatic loader which allows to work autonomously without the presence of any member of the staff;\u00a0 the plane-parallel grinding of both compression spring ends is also possible. Last but not least the machine can work with 3 different grinding methods: a continuous grinding, the down-feed grinding and the down-feed grinding with EVCON spring length control.<\/p>\n

Among the other features of this machine we can find an automatic controlling and a positioning system, an automatic grinding wheel wear compensation, a spring length measuring device, a standard cooling system for loading plate and grinding space, a special cooling system through the grinding wheels, an electronic adjustment of the loading plate rotation speed,
\nan automatic positioning of the upper mandrel group after the dressing process or grinding wheel change, an additional device for a rapid grinding wheel change, the possibility to execute a down-feed grinding using a special loading plate (OMD patent) and an industrial PC with a graphic visualization for programming, diagnostics and statistical production data.<\/p>\n

At the moment Mollificio Valli is equipped with 14 grinding machines among which 10 with CNC system. The productive capacity is of about 200.000.000 pieces per year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
